Artist in the Spotlight: Sipo Liimatainen

Sipo Liimatainen was born in 1963 in Finland’s capital city of Helsinki.

He started his artwork career with conventional air-brush techniques in the early -80 ‘s, at that time when he was working in advertising (painting vehicles, portraits and walls at the custom-built).
At the beginning of the 2000 he found the enchanting world of digital art and since then he’s been navigating through digital world of art.

Sipo is a self-taught digital artist and he believes that`s probably why he combines different kinds of theories, trends and techniques with no doubt.
As an artist and a person he prefers deep reflection and contemplation to speech. He also thinks he is a social hermit
